Welcome to PAI
We are a dynamic Peruvian production and festival distribution company based in Lima,Peru and Madrid, Spain. Founded in 2017 by producer Lorena Tulini and director Dana Bonilla, PAI FILMS is dedicated to creating and promoting films that are inspired by experimentation, sound, and a profound search for unique aesthetics.
Our passion for filmmaking naturally extended to distribution. In 2023, we began showcasing our films at prestigious festivals, and by 2024, we expanded to distribute a variety of compelling stories that we believe in.
Our films have premiered at renowned festivals such as IFF Rotterdam, Moscow International Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and Sheffield Doc/Fest, among others.
At PAI FILMS, we focus on producing and distributing documentaries, hybrid and experimental narratives, and music videos. We embrace diverse genres and themes, all characterized by a strong creative vision.
Our Team.
Our team is comprised of strong and determined female professionals excelling in various fields, including directing, scriptwriting, cinematography, editing, producing, distribution, and cultural management. Our work have showcased at prestigious venues and events such as the Barbican Centre in London, Locarno Industry Academy for Latin America, and the first Muestra de Video Feminista de América Latina y el Caribe, among others.
